Northwest Vision and Media, create the bigger picture
Skills Roadshows for the Region's Creatives
A series of ground-breaking, free Roadshows designed to
help the region’s creative talent find out about new and
exciting opportunities, are due to be held throughout
December.
Open to everyone working or wanting to work in the film, TV, radio,
games and digital industries, the Roadshows are being organised by
Northwest Vision and Media, which works on behalf of the digital
and creative industries in the Northwest to grow a world-class
digital and creative economy within the region.
“From Manchester to Liverpool, Lancashire, Cheshire and
Cumbria, we’re taking our Roadshows right across the region,
in the hope of letting as many people as possible know about the
fabulous opportunities available to them,” explains Alice
Morrison, Chief Executive at Vision and Media.
“The Roadshows will also offer both individuals and
businesses the chance to network with other industry professionals,
glean advice from our panel of experts and learn about the exciting
training and development opportunities on offer at Vision and
Media,” adds Alice.
There will be two parts to each Roadshow. People looking to
get into the digital and media industries are invited to a
drop in session from 2pm – 5pm, to speak to Vision and Media
staff about opportunities on offer.
Digital and media businesses and their employees
are invited to an evening Q+A and networking session, from 6pm
– 8pm.
